DONATIONS Miami Lyric Opera is a Non-Profit Corporation tax exempt under Sectiont 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code, hat is committed to presenting opera and other musical events within the Miami Dade area. MLO also promotes the appreciation of opera by conducting workshops and individual voice lessons aimed at teaching classical singing and opera to novice and mature singers. As part of its Mission, MLO is committed to providing scholarships to qualified young talents to improve their musicianship and singing skills. To finance the operation and create a Fund for Scholarships, we rely on donations and contributions in addition to revenues produced by the sale of tickets.
